MRIS

We define ‘curriculum’ as the totality of a child’s experience at MRIS, ensuring that they are ready for the secondary school with the right knowledge and with the right skills for the next stage of their educational journey.

Primary Years in MRIS-51, Gurugram comprises Grades II-V. At the Junior School level, we focus on the development of oral as well as written expression, creative writing, critical thinking and mathematical skills. Our well-thought school curriculum encourages children to be academically inquisitive and to take responsibility and initiative as they move into this more structured phase of their schooling.

Our faculty uses a wide range of strategies to deliver curriculum content such as science investigations, interactive, hands-on projects, drama activities, games, informal discussions and outdoor learning. Experiential Learning is encouraged through innovations like flipped classes, Reflection Sheets etc.

Co-curricular activities, Community Outreach Programs, Edu-Trips, care for the environment and adopting United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG) are an integral part for the students of Primary Wing. All these activities are intermingled into the curriculum along with the seven pillars of the learning areas- Languages and Literacy, Numeracy, CREST, Sports and Well-Being, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, and Life Skills- Soft Skills and Technical Skills. We aim to impart education that provides relevant, meaningful and diverse learning opportunities which support students in their aspirations, encourage them to fortify their innate strengths and spur them to productively engage with the community.
