Virtual Tour

MRIS-51 adopted the Goals in order to achieve the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which will mobilize efforts to end all forms of poverty, fight inequalities and tackle climate change, while ensuring that no one is left behind. Out of the total of 17 Goals drafted by the United Nations, 4 SDGs are followed by the Primary wing.

These SDGs have been included as Annual Projects which is an integral part of the curriculum. “The earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s needs, but not every man’s greed” by following this famous quote by Mahatma Gandhi, we at MRIS-51 organise NGO visits where students learn values like empathy, togetherness, respect, care and appreciation by interacting with the children who are in need. Under our Annual Projects, students are sensitised towards the importance of water and are taught various ways of conserving water by involving in innovative practices. Learning about these initiatives helps students develop insights into issues around the world, such as lack of access to clean water. Students also undergo experiential learning in terms of collecting data, analysing data, researching on various alternative sources of energy. The Annual projects encourage students to be active participants in their local and global communities. The students have a lot of hands-on experience of these goals through workshops, regular learning sessions.
