The life skills curriculum at MRIS Mohali is thoughtfully crafted to equip students with essential 21st-century skills and knowledge through a blend of soft and technical skills. The soft skills curriculum emphasizes values, effective communication, and critical thinking, while the technical curriculum focuses on computer literacy and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) skills in Makershala. The Skill Lab offers a project-based curriculum where students explore electronics, programming, carpentry, aero-modeling, architecture, design, and robotics, applying core concepts from subjects like science and math. This state-of-the-art program aims to build foundational competencies at the primary level, which are then used to design solutions and test hypotheses in senior classes. The Skill Development Programme is unique in fostering holistic development.
