“Work hard now and live the rest of your life as a champion.”

Living by this maxim, Arya Pandit, a Grade VIII child has yet again made MRIS 46 proud by boxing her way in the 14th Haryana State Boxing Championship to bag the first position and be the happy holder of the gold medal. The competition was held at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Gurugram recently.

Arya participated in the U-14 group in the 46-48 kg category. She won the coveted title by defeating Monika from Bhiwani district. She had taken the lead in the first bout itself and as they say the rest is history. She believes, “If you work hard in training, the fight is easy.” She gives credit to her mentor Ms. Saroj Sharma for her fitness regime and rigorous training.

We hope this legacy continues and she brings more laurels to the school. MRIS 46 congratulates the young achiever and her mentor, and wishes them more success in the days to come.
