Books can never become obsolete, as per our belief they are irreplaceable because they are the most effective way to store knowledge to be passed on to the future generations. BOOKS are a UNIQUELY PORTABLE MAGIC. They are our most loyal and trusted friends, on this note and on the occasion of ‘World Book Day’ falling under the quarantine period, students of MRIS Mohali came up with the unique activities suggested by our Librarian Ms. Monika Mukh.

Children of Early Years with the support of their parents read their favourite books, few parents narrated the stories from the books. Children enjoyed reading and also clicked pictures with their favourite book under ‘Selfie with your favourite Book’ activity.

Students of Primary Years also showcased their love for books through reading & making book reviews and bookmarks. They sketched their favourite characters/cartoons in the story, and made their own story.
