In accordance with the CBSE based initiative to promote reading amongst students, MRIS Mohali reinforced its importance by celebrating the ‘Reading Week’ in a fun and creative manner from 8th September to 14th September, 2020.

Children of Early Years enjoyed reading and played literacy-based games. They also followed the ‘Each One Teach One’ policy through their ‘Vidya Daan’ initiative.

Students of MRIS showcased their love for books by preparing book reviews and storyboards of their favourite storybooks. Creativity overflowed as they sketched and dressed, liked their favourite characters/cartoons in the story, and weaved their own narratives. Students enthusiastically solved riddles and puzzles during their virtual library sessions and got the ‘Digital Riddle Master’ badges which motivated them to continue with the virtue of reading.
