We, at Manav Rachna, believe that social distancing should not lead to emotional distancing. We may not be able to be with each other right now, but we ought to be there for each other. Therefore, instead of social distancing, Manav Rachna International Schol, Mohali, converted the day into a day of ‘Virtual Connecting‘ through its third edition of annual pan-India Inter-School event, India Calling- Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
The event spanned across levels from Nursery to Grade IX, hemming in various out of the box virtual competitions like Abhinandit Aarogya Bharat (Yoga encompasses Dance), Rachnatmak Kathaaein, Mask Making, Upcycling Plastic, Just a Minute and Jhankaar (Suro ka Sangam) amongst others.
The enthusiasm and creativity of the participants across schools was a marvel to the eyes! It was difficult for our eminent judges to segregate the best from the rest as all the performances surpassed the set benchmarks!
The leading spark behind all this motivation, Ms. Taruna Vashisht, Principal MRIS Mohali, concluded the event with the Result Declaration Ceremony
