‘THE EYES ARE THE JEWELS OF THE BODY TAKE CARE OF THEM’
Manav Rachna International School, Ludhiana acknowledges the significance of the well-being of its students and staff. It takes the initiative to conduct various health programmes at regular intervals. Most of the learning in school involves the use of eyes. Many a times, the academic performance of the students is adversely affected due to eye related problems. Dr. H.P Singh, MD, AIIMS, New Delhi conducted a two day Eye check-up Camp at the school for the students and the staff members. Dr. Singh also informed that vision screening is not the solution to a host of problems that children face and apprised everyone with problems caused by muscle imbalance and eye movement disorder.
The School Management ensures the well-being of every staff member associated with MRIS. The support staff including the drivers, conductors and nannies also had to undergo their eye check-up. Each one got ample opportunities to interact with the Doctors of the eye specialist team to enquire and acquire knowledge concerning their eyesight.
