World Ozone Day is celebrated every year on September 16 around the globe to spread awareness regarding the Ozone Layer’s depletion, as well as the search for solutions in order to preserve it.

Students of MRIS- 51 Gurugram participated with great zest in the virtual celebration and understood the importance of the Ozone Layer and its significance in protecting life on Earth from the harmful effects of ultraviolet radiation.

Keeping this objective in mind, the day was celebrated with pomp and show and different activities were designed for students to galvanize them to increase their efforts to address the challenges. Some of the activities were poster making, and painting on the topic -‘A world without the ozone layer, designing logos, writing a letter to the Editor of a local newspaper to raise awareness. The students of MRIS-51, Gurugram also created beautiful and useful things with the best out of waste which was a treat to the eyes.
