SEN Department of MRIS-46 Gurugram conducted a workshop on the “Strategies to Support the Oral Motor and Oral Sensory Issues” recently for the parents of the children from the department. A number of parents attended and got a clarity of the issues related to the topics.

Various oral motor and oral sensory issues, related to speech and feeding were addressed. Activities for the improvisation of feeding and speech-related dysfunctions were discussed. Parents gained a lot of knowledge on this topic through interaction with our professionals.

More workshops related to this topic to get clarity on the issues will be conducted in the coming months. The workshop addressed a much-needed subject and was an eye-opener for many.
