To honour womanhood, Manav Rachna International School, Mohali celebrated International Women’s Day with a Panel Discussion on the topic ‘Today’s Woman: Transforming Challenges into Opportunities’ on campus. The panel consisted of a scientist, a doctor, an IT entrepreneur, a banker and an educationist. Supermoms of MRIS students shared their take on how they promote work-home balance and that the true woman of today is the one who acts as an inspiration to others and cheers other women. It was an occasion for the members of the Manav Rachna family to pause for a moment and reflect on ourselves, to appreciate how much has been done and what more needs to be done in the field of gender equality and empowering each other. The panel also acknowledged that all men and women all over the world must strive for making this world a better place for everyone to live in.
