‘Every day is another chance to get stronger, to eat better and to live healthier’
With this thought in mind, MRIS 46 celebrated Mother’s Day for the mothers of the students of Early Years – ‘MOM’S RAAHGIRI DAY’. The event started with the electrifying Zumba, which set the tone for the rest of the activities. Mother and child fun races further filled the air with enthusiasm. With fun games like ‘Feed the Giraffe’, ‘Blow the Ball’ and ‘Arm Wrestling’, mothers re-lived their childhood. A healthy mind breeds a healthy body and vice versa! For the exercise of the mind, moms put their thinking caps on at the estimation counter. They made an estimation of the objects kept in various jars and ‘potlis’ and the winners were awarded with gift vouchers by ‘Bata’. Art and craft corner caught the fancy of the little ones, they created various crafts with their beloved mothers.
No event is complete without making beautiful memories, moms made memories for a lifetime at the photo booth. Someone has rightly said, that mothers are Superheroes. MRIS – 46 invited Ms. Kavita Yadav who inspired everyone on the ability to manage work, life & home and the ways to balance them all. Another guest speaker, Dr. Meena Makhija, who is working with Indian Spinal Injuries as a consultant physiotherapist spoke about Back Pain and Ergonomics. Ms. Pooja Sharma, who is a life coach enlightened the mothers, ‘How happy mothers make happy children.’
“Motherhood: All love begins and ends there.” Let’s salute to all mothers for their endless love, care and affection.
