Students from MRIS-46, Gurugram participated in ‘Mathemania – the Math Fest’. Krishaang Kohli and Akshit Gupta bagged 2nd position in the category Mathenigma. The paramount purpose of education is to ignite the drive and passion for learning. The celebration of Math Fest was a sincere endeavour to keep alive children’s sense of wonder and provide them a platform and conditions for collaborative learning. 14 schools from Delhi-NCR participated in the competition. It had myriad activities from solving a Rubik Cube in record time to solving shapes to finding the coefficient based on a binomial theorem to disassemble and reassemble a ringed structure. All the activities were hands-on, based on logic and application. It was an enthralling experience with interactive games which made it quite interesting.
