It is said, “Happiness comes in small packages.” This adage was proved true by the little bundles of joy who coloured the alfresco of Manav Rachna International School, Ludhiana with their zeal, positivity, poise and confidence on 16th December 2019. The Annual Day of pre-primary students aptly named ‘Versatalia’ was a fun-filled and power-packed show of talent, confidence and joy. The two-hour event brought to life the colours of their dream world and fantasy land enriched with positivity, optimism and happy-go-lucky attitude to achieve their goal. The event was presented with the belief of MRIS family that nothing is impossible if they keep believing in the beauty of their dreams.

The dignitaries Mr. Gaurav Rai, Executive Director, MRIS-Ludhiana who has given his every precious hour into moulding, shaping and nurturing this temple of learning; Dr. Rupali Trehan, Director, MRIS, who has uplifted the school to soaring heights with her charisma and precision; Dr. Rajinder Trehan, a versatile human being who supports and contributes meticulously in the development of the school; Mr.Jaswant Singh Chappa, a pillar of strength to the MRIS team, and Ms. Anju Dhawan, Principal, Manav Rachna International School, Ludhiana who is the most admirable ‘Guru’, graced the occasion with their presence.

The main highlight of the event was the ‘Making of the entire event’ wherein the toil and hard work of the students and their mentors were showcased. The arena resounded with applause as the students of EY brought to life various characters from Disney through their phenomenal performances of Minions, Clowns, Pinocchio, Shrek and Fiona, Micky Minnie, Hens and Chickens and Hakuna Matata. A mesmerizing performance ‘Ali Baba and Forty Thieves’ was presented by the students of Grade I and II. Another mind-boggling performance was ‘The Five Elements’ by the students of Grade III-V. The audience was enthralled and awe-struck by the performances and complimented the students and management for such a magnificent display of splendour and glitz.
