“Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students and enthusiastic parents.”

Manav Rachna International School, Sec- 46 Gurugram believes in transparency, so the parents of Nursery and Kindergarten were invited to the school for a coffee morning. Parents were apprised about the school rules and the teaching learning pedagogy being practiced at the school. Headmistress Ms. Anita Dasgupta shared about the spiral learning continuum with an aim to make independent learners for life. Parents were briefed that children first learn the concepts, thereafter; they explore them in different ways using different resources/materials, and acquire different skills in the process and apply them in different areas.

All the class incharges gave an insight of the curriculum and the learning journey their children will follow throughout the year. Parents were guided about the 7 learning areas, phonic programme and writing patterns followed by the school. Hindi educators shared how learning of the subject is delivered in a fun way with the help of stories and rhymes associated with each ‘Vyanjan’. Parents were also briefed about the UNSDGs adopted by the school and how Early Years is working towards creating Little Guardians of the Planet. Our little ones showcased a glimpse of an active classroom. It was a flip classroom in action, where our students led the parents through experiential learning.
