The excellently equipped Manav Rachna Sports Academy at MRIS guides and trains the indefatigable champions in various sports domains. Somya Gupta from Grade IX-A participated and bagged a gold medal in Open Punjab Shooting Championship held at Khanna Shooting Club recently. Expert training and guidance was exhibited by our young and energetic competitors Meenal Jain from Grade II-A by bagging the first prize in U-7 Girls Chess Tournament; Fateh from Grade I-A winning silver medal in state Yoga Championship held at Amritsar; and Aarav Kalra from Grade – IV securing third position in the District Chess Championship held at one of the schools of Ludhiana.

Our budding Karate Champions, Kinshuk Jain and Manan Jassal from Grade I-A also brought laurels to the school by winning silver medal each in 9th South Asian Hakuakai Karate Championship 2019 held at New Delhi recently.

Continuing with the array of winners, Ivaan Sharma from Grade I-A bagged a gold medal in the District Karate Championship held at Guru Nanak Stadium Ludhiana; Jasraj Singh from Grade VII-A won gold medal in S.Resham Singh Thiara Memorial Open Badminton Tournament in doubles U-15 category held at Nawanshahr; Nawabdeep from Grade- IV secured third position in Indian Sports School Trust Open Table Tennis Competition held at Satluj Club Ludhiana, and Jason Walia from Grade I-C was credited with gold medals and a trophy  in Roller Skating Championship (event-400m quads) held at Leisure Valley International Skating Rink Ludhiana.
