Paper Making Activity

Paper Making Activity

We, at Manav Rachna, believe that children learn the best by doing. So our Kindergarteners learnt how paper is made. The entire process of making paper was demonstrated to them first and then, they were made to do it. This activity introduced students to recycling; what it is, its importance, value, benefits, and how it affects our lives. The teachers told them that recycling paper has many benefits, such as reducing human impact on the environment by using fewer trees and reducing the amount of trash dumped in landfills. In this process, new terminology was also introduced like: churning, squeezing, sprinkling etc. They were very happy and excited to see beautiful handmade paper prepared by them which they kept under the sun for drying. It was an interesting and enriching learning experience.
