“Winners are not the people who never fail but the people who never quit.”

MRIS-51 in all its glory and grandeur, held the Scholar Badge Ceremony for the session 2018-2019 recently. To felicitate the meritorious students who have excelled in academics, parents of the young achievers were invited for the celebration who proudly witnessed their wards receiving their honors.

A solemn ceremony of nurturing a plant (Banana) was the highlight of the event which was watered by Principal ma’am and the parents as we at MRIS have pledged to take up the task of going green totally for which the plant has become our symbol to work towards environment.

Principal Ms. Pooja Puri formally welcomed the parents and gave the message to the young scholars to keep striving so that the banner of MRIS always flies high. She also encouraged the students that achieving academic excellence is not enough but skill development is the need of the hour to make themselves adaptable to any kind of profession in their future.

The event began with the soul- stirring rendition presented by the school choir titled- “Follow Your Dreams.” This was followed by the much awaited Scholar Badge Ceremony. As a hallmark of true academic brilliance, the students were awarded badges and certificates to the deserving students. A gleaming enthusiasm and the triumphant spirit of the young scholars could be felt and seen. The achievers also shared with everyone their driving force and inspiration behind their achievements.

How could an event end without some entertainment? A mesmerizing and vibrant classical dance performance was presented by the students of Grade 7 & 8.

The event culminated with Vote of Thanks by the Headmistress followed by the School song and National Anthem.
