Taking into consideration the current scenario, we thought it is best to equip our children with information and disaster management drills in order to ensure that they are aware and well-prepared in case of an emergency. As part of the endeavor, an evacuation drill was organized at the school in order to make the children aware of how to react in case of an emergency. It was a successful exercise and children participated and cooperated wholeheartedly and intelligently in this initiative. The staff members were also trained how to use fire extinguisher and hose pipes at the time of need. The drill was well-planned and well-executed, there was no panic and everything went off smoothly. The measures to improve it further were also discussed with all concerned.
