Students of Manav Rachna International School, Sec-21C, Faridabad had the good fortune to meet the legendary Ruskin Bond during ‘Author Meet’ organized by Ratna Sagar. The Indian author of British descent is widely recognized for his role in promoting the growth of children’s literature in India. He has uncountable works to his name. The celebrated author shared his childhood stories and rich experience in life. The audience was completely enthralled by the witty author who discussed his pitfalls and struggles in life as a writer.

He had many words of encouragement and guidance for the young children to follow their passion in life and putting their ideas into paper. He said, “Write about things as if you are looking at them for the last time and you will find the words to preserve them.”

His parting words to the young children were “Believe in your writing.”
