Installation Ceremony of Interact Club

The deserving young talents of MRIS-14 were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their school from the front with their commitment, confidence and competence. The event began with the installation ceremony of Interact club ‘ALTRUISM’ in collaboration with Rotary Club ‘AASTHA’, Faridabad. It began with a green welcome followed by a mellifluous motivational song presented by the school choir. Students were appointed in different capacities such as President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. Mr. Ashish Gupta, Assistant Governor, Rotary club graced the event as the Chief Guest and Mr. Deepak Prashad, President, Rotary club solicited his presence as the Guest of Honour. The distinguished dignitaries appointed the young officers formally by adorning them with badges. The Vice-Principal of the school, Dr. Shalini Bindra in her address exhorted the students to work diligently, uphold moral values and sport the right attitude.

A brilliant dance performance ‘Pious Sanctum’ was also staged to arouse the feeling of philanthropy in every heart. In an inspiring speech, the esteemed Chief Guest congratulated the school for providing a platform where students can hone their leadership skills. He held the audience transfixed with his impeccable and inspirational rhetoric. The Vice Principal, Dr. Shalini Bindra and Proctor Mr. Verma, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Rotarians for gracing the occasion.

At the end, led by Jiya Jain, the President of the Interact Club, the club members took the pledge to uphold the motto of loyalty, truth and honour in high esteem. The newly elected appointees vouched that they would do their best to keep up the spirit of humanity alive in every heart. It culminated with a Vote of Thanks proposed by the newly appointed President with a motto to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding of goodwill.
