“Be the change you wish to see in the world.”

These beautiful and inspiring words of The Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, always ignite the minds of the people to bring a change in society by changing one’s self first.

To express our sincere tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, the students of Grade 2, MRIS Sector 14, Faridabad presented a play on ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’.

As cleanliness was very close to Mahatma Gandhi’s heart, therefore the promise to keep the nation clean is the best tribute we can pay when we celebrate his 150th birth anniversary.

The students were dressed up in a white traditional dress to symbolize peace as his main principle. They also sang a devotional song and presented a skit depicting various movements initiated by Gandhi ji. Not only this they asked their teachers and peer group to take an oath stating, “I will remain committed towards cleanliness, I will neither litter not let others litter”.

The wonderful dance performance captured the essence of the music. This captivating stage performance got a befitting closure by the encouraging words of Director Principal Ms. Mamta Wadwa. The winners of various competitions were also well appreciated and felicitated by her.
