At MRIS Charmwood, we firmly believe that engagement with parents is of paramount importance. The Coffee Morning gave us an excellent platform to come along and share all views with the parents of Grade VII and VIII over a cup of coffee.
The aim of the session was to work along with parents as a team in developing a safe and secure future of our children in the world of social media and share with them the upcoming changes in curriculum for grade IX and X.
The parents were informed about the importance of the different languages (Sanskrit, Hindi, and French) offered in Grades IX and X as second language. The teachers of the respective subjects explained in detail about the examination pattern and marks allocated to different areas.
The school counsellor, Ms. Swati Sharma, shared with parents the ways children are using social media to communicate, the negative effects of social media and lastly the safety measures that parents can take up to build a safe environment for children.
It was a fantastic experience for parents as well as teachers!
