Kindergarteners celebrated Earth Day 2019

At MRIS 46, our kindergarteners leave no stone unturned when it comes to saving the environment, they are indeed young responsible citizens. They understand that not only planting trees is important however it is important to conserve energy as well. Taking the UNSDG goal #12, ‘Responsible Consumption and Production’ as a part of their BIG PROJECT, young saviours of mother earth conducted a survey with their parents to find out how many electrical appliances and fixtures they have at their home and how they can contribute to save electricity. They also interacted with the staff members in school, spreading the awareness on ways and means to save electricity.

Little Guardians of the Galaxy planted seeds on Earth Day and took a promise to take care of the seeds which will one day turn into beautiful trees and will spread greenery on the planet. Children also made paper bags with newspaper as part of Earth Day Craft, thus, spreading awareness among the masses to REUSE, REDUCE and RECYCLE.
