Media Shala : First of It's Kind Media Curriculum For Students

The Indian education sector has changed its dynamics over the last 2 years more than it has in the last decade. There is a dire need to develop and incorporate new learning methods and subjects that will be relevant to today’s business scenario. The post-pandemic effect has led us to greatly rely on and function in the virtual world. With the introduction of Media Shala, we aim to equip our students with the tools they need to create a digital presence.

Verticals Of Media Shala

Film Making & Photography

For some children, smartphones and tablets are their personal DSLR but how about taking this to the next step? With cameras we can learn not only how to take photos, but also develop cognitive skills!

Film-making is an inclusive method of learning that allows us to develop a variety of skills and abilities such as creative thinking, which is enhanced by developing ideas & writing skills, which are expanded by scriptwriting and so on.

Journalism, Podcasting & Anchoring

We need to make our schools more relevant to the world we live in if we wish to see our students take charge of the world around them. The skills of a journalist mirror those of today’s media consumer which is why news literacy is a critical skill for all students.

Podcasts allow students to practice their listening comprehension of complex texts that are both conversational and formal, and the corresponding transcripts enable students to comprehend and understand complex subjects.

Visual Design & Communication

Visual communication has been shown to have a significant impact on early years’ development. In particular, it has been found to promote cognitive skills such as working memory and problem-solving. Visual communication can help children learn how to orient themselves in the world and develop social skills.
