Spreading a message of Pollution-free Diwali

The students of Grade 4 Atlantic, MRIS, Noida conducted a special assembly to spread the message of celebrating pollution-free Diwali. The school auditorium was decorated with diyas and the assembly commenced with Gayatri Mantra followed by an enchanting diya dance performance in the honour of Lord Rama, Laxman and Sita.

A skit was presented by the students to sensitize everyone about the harmful effects of burning crackers. The highlight of the show was the NukkadNatak where it was shown that Diwali can be also celebrated without crackers as the essence of Diwali is not in polluting the environment but to spread happiness and light in everyone’s life.

Principal reiterated that children should celebrate pollution-free Diwali in its purest form by lighting lamps and sharing with the less fortunate.

The festival of fun and excitement came to an end with a melodious song wishing everyone a very happy and prosperous Diwali.
