Mother’s Day celebratration – 2019

On the solemn occasion of Mother’s day, senior students of MRIS Noida presented a special program to commemorate the beautiful bond of a mother to her child. Pre Primary Department celebrated Mother’s Day with a lot of enthusiasm and gaiety. Mothers were invited and welcomed with handmade flowers. The event was organized so that mothers could unwind and spend some time in school and have fun. An entertaining and funny skit was presented by the teachers. A workshop was presented by one of the mothers on nail art.

Senior students came forward to express their gesture towards their Moms. They put up a wonderful show that began with a prayer to invoke the blessings of the almighty, followed by welcoming the mothers to an interactive session where they were asked to share anecdotes of some funny moments of their children. Vinayak, a Class XII student took the audience down to memory lane through a video and captured the special moments of the mothers posing with their children. Ms. Priyanka Singh, Headmistress spoke on the need to revive the connect missing in the mothers when they support their children. She also appreciated the warm gesture shown by the children in putting up the beautiful program. While a foot tapping song called ‘Meri pyari Ammi’ was sung by the choir, Rohan, a student of Class XI sang a song called ‘Meri Ma’ which touched the hearts of one and all. This was followed by a skit presented by the students of Class IX and X on the role of a mother and her sacrificial love. The showstopper of the day was ‘Antakshari’ where there was a huge participation from the excited mothers.

In her culminating speech, Principal, Ms. Nindiya Saket spoke on the true and unconditional love of a mother and encouraged them to realize the importance of trivial things that bond the children to their mothers. The program ended with a vote of thanks by the compeers where all the students and teachers were thanked for making the event a great success.
