In her address, Ms. Nindiya Saket, Principal of the school spoke on how each one could do his or her bit in helping the nation in little ways like keeping the environment clean, reducing pollution and donating for good causes. While paying homage to the great martyrs who laid their lives for giving us a safe and happy India, Rishika, a student of Class XI, initiated a fund for reaching out to the two-year old daughter of BSF officer Assistant Commandant Vinay Prasad, martyred in Pak sniper fire along IB in J&K’s Kathua – truly a magnanimous act! The programme concluded with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Chief Guest followed by the National Anthem and school song.
