MRIS Mohali shooting champs added another feather to MRIS Mohali’s cap by bagging several positions in the 5th Tri-City Inter Academy Shooting Championship held at Sprouts Shooting Academy, Mohali.

Amongst the top 120 shooters from around the city, Varinda and Gurleen were awarded Gold and Silver medal respectively in Air Pistol Women, while Abhimanyu Rana secured 4th position in Air Rifle (Men) and was awarded with Silver medal. Samarjeet Singh won Silver in Air Pistol Men. Team medals were awarded to Eknoor Singh (Silver medal), Angad Singh (Silver medal), and Angelina (Bronze medal) in the three-day event held from July 19, 2019 to July 21, 2019.

The winners were felicitated by Ms. Taruna Vashisht, Principal MRIS Mohali, saying, “We must not let our children be confined to the four walls of the classroom. They should be encouraged and given opportunities to explore their potential, and follow their passion and dreams.”
