As yet another gesture to commemorate the contribution of our soldiers to the nation, the students of MRIS Mohali visited the Air Force Station to tie Rakhis to those who protect and safeguard India’s air boundaries. The officers were overwhelmed and cheered the spirit of the children. They also organised a tete-e-tete with the children apprising them with the functioning of the air forces and motivating them to join the armed forces. The students were also shown a combat helicopter stationed within the premises of the Air Force Station. Sensitizing the children about the role of soldiers in protecting the frontiers of our country, Ms. Taruna Vashisht, Principal MRIS Mohali highlighted the excitement, adventure and thrill in the life of soldiers.
