MRIS Mohali organized a Health Awareness Camp for the students in the school campus. The day commenced with an awareness session on asthma and related medical conditions by Dr. Swati Gupta, Paediatrician, Fortis Hospital, who familiarised the students with the factors that trigger asthma and also talked about how an inhaler or a nebulizer should be used during an emergency.

The session was followed by a General Health and Dental Check-up by Dr. Swati Gupta and Dr. Sandeep, Dentist, Fortis Hospital, assisted by Ms. Jaswant, Medical Officer, MRIS Mohali. The Health Camp culminated with a discussion of students’ health reports with the school Principal, Ms. Taruna Vashisht, who thanked the team of Fortis Hospital for conducting the camp.
