Halloween Celebrations

Halloween Celebrations

A moment of cute terror struck Manav Rachna International School, Mohali, when the little ones from Early Years went around scaring everyone in their Halloween outfits. It was such a delight to watch both the children and their Group Incharges celebrate Halloween in high spirits. From face painting to scary props, from terror outfits to scary masks, the Early Years wing was full of adorable spookiness!

A day prior to the celebrations, the little ones prepared Halloween craft in the form of scary pumpkins, ghosts, spider head gears, witch hats, mummies and other spooky art. They then went around with their little ‘Trick or Treat’ baskets to fetch candies from all the rooms.

The students of Grade 1 also dressed up as saints and devils, and made everyone aware about the origins and traditions of the festival. The message of keeping evils away from our lives was carried on to connect with Diwali celebrations. The students of Grade 7 gave the message of Green Diwali and emphasized on creative ways to celebrate Diwali in an eco-friendly manner. The library badges for ‘Trivia Star’ and ‘Star Reader’ were given to the students.
