Manav Rachna International School, Sector 51, Gurugram celebrated Gandhi Jayanti recently. The students of Grade IX presented a short virtual assembly. It began with an inspiring quote by Mahatma Gandhi.
The students talked about Gandhi Ji’s early years and his invaluable contribution to India’s freedom struggle and how his principles of truth and non-violence are still remembered today. It was followed by a melodious song and a beautiful dance performance.
Students made nice presentations showing the life and contributions of Mahatma Gandhi. Students of Grade II-V were also encouraged to imbibe the values of kindness and non-violence. The session culminated with an exit ticket to clean their rooms following the virtue of cleanliness taught to us by Bapu.
The little ones went on a virtual trip to Sabarmati Ashram to know more about Gandhi Ji’s life and a few dressed up like him.
