MRIS Mohali celebrated Eid-ul-Adha in the school premises. The weather added to the charm of festivities. The day started with an informative session by Mohd. Faiz Ali of Grade 5 on Eid-ul-Adha. He elaborated the significance of Eid as a reminder of sacrificing our material possessions in the name of God. After the session, all the children hugged each other and wished Eid Mubarak. The little ones too added to the festivities with their hand-made Eid cards sprinkled with a silver moon and stars.

Principal MRIS Mohali, Ms. Taruna Vashisht stated that “We must be ready to sacrifice things that are dear to us because God has endowed us with all those things. At the same time, we must also sacrifice all the vices within us and inculcate more virtues”.
