MRIS Mohali organized an enlightening session on “Decoding Study Skills” for students of grades 6 to 9 on December 14, 2020.

Mr. Nitesh, an IIM alumnus and Cambridge certified trainer, elaborated on concepts like ‘the memory model’ and ‘metacognition’ and motivated students to think about what they are thinking.

Students enjoyed unraveling the Zeigarnik effect and the learning pyramid.Ms. Sanyogita Sharma, Director, Manav Rachna International Schools, encouraged students to use study skills such as the Pomodoro effect and spaced learning to make their learning easier and more effective.

Principal, MRIS Mohali, Ms Taruna Vashisht asked children to implement the tips and tricks they learned in the session to improve their performance in the upcoming assessments.
