Bidding Farewell to First Academic Session through ‘Harmonia’

MRIS Mohali marked the end of the first academic Session 2018-19 by putting up a great cultural show Harmonia – the synthesis of all performing arts. The event was a blend of music, dance, theatre and drama. The show began with welcoming of the Chief Guests Dr. H K Bali, Chairman,Cardiac Sciences, Paras Hospital and Dr. Neeru Bali, followed by bewildering and enchanting performances by the students from Grade 2 to Grade 7. The audience was completely mesmerised by the fairy tale show by Grade 2. The audience was taken to the wilderness and Anansi stories of Africa by the students of Grade 3. The play Kabira, by the students of Grade 4-7 brought the audience to their homeland, i.e. India, where we celebrate diversities, but follow just one religion, humanity. Ms. Taruna Vashisht, Principal MRIS Mohali thanked the guests, and parents for sparing their time and making the show a success. She also expressed her gratitude to Mr. Sunny Bansal, Executive Director MRIS Mohali, for his relentless support.
