The PEC for Early Years witnessed a lot of candid interactions and appreciation by the parents for the efforts that the school and the base group-in charges are putting in. The parents of classes 1-5 discussed all aspects of their ward’s performance i.e. in academics, sports and other co-scholastic areas. However discussion in grades 6th & 7th focused mainly on academic performance of students in the recently held Half Yearly Examinations in September.
The parents appreciated the Manav Rachna Sports Academy, which is now functional during evening hours. After PEC, parents and children visited the library for the “Book Tasting” Activity, wherein the school library was designed as a restaurant and books of different genres from toddlers to grade 7 were placed on the tables. The school Librarian Ms. Monika Mukh enlightened the patrons about the purpose and objective of this activity and helped them to go through the books. Children ended up reading a lot of books. ‘Happy Reading Badges’, ‘Book Marks’ and ‘Candies’ were given as ‘take aways’. A “Book Fair” was also organized in the school.
