Manav Rachna Scholarship Test 

  • What is MRST?

MRST is  Manav Rachna Scholarship Test  for  the students of Grade 5 to Grade 10 , studying  in the current Session 24-25 ,  in Manav Rachna Schools and outside Manav Rachna. It is organised at  various Manav Rachna International Schools spread across 5 cities .

MRIS initiated the Scholarship Test in 2020  with the aim of appreciating & supporting academically meritorious students with upto 100% scholarship on tuition fee at the futuristic Manav Rachna International Schools.

The test is also aimed to challenge the school students in order to encourage and promote academic excellence in a healthy competitive manner.

 

  • Is the Manav Rachna Scholarship Test only for MRIS students?

The Scholarship Test is open to MRIS  students and the students from all other schools studying in the same classes.

 

  • Which Grades is the MRST valid for?

Manav Rachna Scholarship test is valid for students from Grade 5 to Grade 10  studying in the session 24-25

Students of MRIS and all other schools in the respective cities can apply for the scholarship test.

Please note: Test for students  enrolled in Grade 9  in 24-25 and moving to Grade 10 next  Academic year  is available only for MRIS students and outstation students planning to shift cities in the forthcoming session.

 

  • What is the Syllabus for MRST?

The Scholarship Test will test Conceptual Clarity and Higher Order Thinking Skills in Logic and  Reasoning, Maths, English and Science.

The test will cover the complete syllabus of the current class and it will be a concept & competency based test not restricted to any textbooks or publications.

 

  • Dates for Scholarship Test

The Manav Rachna Scholarship Test is scheduled for November 16, 2024- III Saturday

 

  • How to Apply?

The Manav Rachna Scholarship Test form is available at the school website – www.mris.edu.in.

Kindly visit the same & fill all the relevant details. You can also visit the school branch and seek help in filling the form.

 

  • Where will the exam be conducted?

The test will be conducted in physical mode at various Manav Rachna School Branches. While filling the form, participants can select the MRIS branch closest to them and appear for the Scholarship Test on the scheduled day.

 

  • Is the exam valid for IB Admissions?

No, this test is only applicable for CBSE.

 

  • What is the registration fee for MRST?

INR 100 + taxes will be charged at the time of registration. The amount can be paid online or offline by visiting the school. ( This is Non Refundable & Non transferable ).

 

  • When is the result declared?

The Manav Rachna Scholarship Test Results will be declared on  30th November 2024.( Tentative date).

 

  • What is the format of the Test – Subjective or Objective?

The test will be conducted in both objective and subjective format. The objective type questions will be answered in the Question Paper and Subjective type questions will be attempted in the answer sheet provided with the question paper.

 

  • What is the exam structure?

Duration of the test will be 2 hrs .

Maximum Marks -100

Reporting Time for Scholarship Test :  9.15 AM to 9.30 AM

Reading time – 9:45 – 10 AM

Exam timings will be 10 AM – 12 Noon.

 

  • Are sample  Question papers available for practice?

Yes, Question Papers of the previous years are available on the School website .

 

  • What is the criteria for availing the Scholarship?

For Non-MRIS students – Scholarship benefits  are available to all selected students who will take  Admission in Grades VI, VII, VIII, IX, X   & XI for the session 2025-26  in any branch of MRIS (Current Grade IX going to Grade X Test is available only for MRIS students and  outstation Students who plan to shift cities in the forthcoming session).

There will be a 100% Waiver on Admission Fee and Tuition Fee.

Transportation (if availing), security fee, academic resources and annual charges only will be payable.

The Top achievers will be decided on a percentile basis with a minimum of 70% Marks.

 

For MRIS students  – Scholarship will be given in the form of 100% waiver on tuition Fee which will be upto 75% of the Grade specific Composite fee . Transportation  Fee(if availing), Academic resources and Annual charges will be payable.

 

  • Student Guidelines

On the day of the test, the student will be required to carry and keep in mind the following-

ID Card of the school MRIS/Non MRIS

Admit Card/Letter of Communication received from MRIS

Required:   Required stationery, water bottle ,hand sanitizer etc.

Please reach the Exam Center chosen at the given time to avoid inconvenience.

In case of  suffering from any infectious disease ,  please do not attend.

Important note:

This scholarship is merit based and valid for one Academic Session only. If the scholar continues to do well academically, secures  an aggregate of 95% with minimum  85% in each subject , regularly participates  and performs well in benchmark tests like the Olympiads and other competitive tests , the scholarship will roll over to the next academic session at the recommendation of the School Head. However if the scholar does not meet the above criteria, he/she can re-appear for the Scholarship Test next session. In grade XI the required  Aggregate % will be 85% for continuation of the Scholarship benefits.
