Our Cultural possessions are irreplaceable sources of inspiration and “The World Heritage Day” is a reminder for preserving our legacies.
This Day aims at protecting and preserving these valuable assets and offers an opportunity to raise public awareness about the diversity of our cultural heritage and the efforts that are required to protect and conserve it, as well as it draws attention to its vulnerability.
A guided Trip was organized for the students from grade VI-IX as an endeavour to educate the children about their rich cultural endowment. The children enjoyed a lot at “Jang-e-Azadi Memorial Museum, Kartarpur” and spent quality time with their educators and classmates.
The students of Early years and Primary enjoyed making collage of the historical monuments and the teacher highlighted the significance of the same. A video on 35 World Heritage sites was also shown followed by a short quiz.
