To rejoice in happiness and indulge in celebration, to salute the ones who made it possible, to sing in their admiration who made India stand high and mighty – To make them our inspiration Manav Rachna International school, Ludhiana celebrated 70th Republic Day with great reverence.

To mark the birth of modern India a special assembly was organized by the students in the school campus. The patriotic fervour warmed up the cold winter morning. The day began with the praise of Almighty followed by the speech which was delivered eloquently about our diverse nation and the relevance of the Constitution. The poem recited by the students filled the atmosphere with patriotism. This was followed by a medley of patriotic songs presented by the mellifluous school band. A spellbinding dance performance by the students made all bow in allegiance to the brave freedom fighters who laid their lives for the motherland. The Head girl enthralled everyone with her inspiring message emphasizing the importance of Republic and free India. A quiz was conducted in the respective classrooms and videos were shown to the children highlighting the significance of Republic Day. Take away craft was made by the Early Years children which they carried it home.

Principal, Dr. Rupali Saini, in her address expressed gratitude towards the freedom fighters and the soldier who sacrificed their lives for the nation. She urged every student to work with modesty and dedication for the nation. Finally all assembled bowed to the strains of our National Anthem for a perfect tribute to our motherland. Today we are proud of our nation’s achievements and look ahead to a bright future for our country India which has flourished despite adversities to rise victorious.
