With respect to the Literacy curriculum, an activity LACING RHYMING WORDS was conducted for students of Nursery in their Virtual Sessions at MRIS, Ludhiana. This activity was planned for developing their fine motor skills, improving hand-eye coordination and concentration, and keeping little kids happily amused!

Lacing Rhyming words activity was enjoyed by the kids wholeheartedly. The activity enabled the kids to find patterns and spot out different word families while reading. These activities on regular basis will surely help the kids with fluency in reading and will also enhance their writing and speaking skills. Interest grabber cards were made with CVC word families mentioned on opposite sides with holes punched in the cards. The kids had to find the correct rhyming words and pair it with similar ones with a ribbon, wool or with a lace.

The teachers expressed their gratitude to the parents for their untiring support and optimism which led to the successful accomplishment of the activity. Overall, it was a gladsome experience for the kids.
