Manav Rachna International School, Ludhiana bestows upon its students the ability to be the future leaders of the world. The investiture ceremony for the session 2018-19 was yet again a special occasion where the young talents of the school were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their school with commitment,confidence and competence. The solemn ceremony was graced by Dr. Roopali Trehan, Director Manav Rachna International School, Ludhiana, The School Principal Dr. Rupali Saini and the proud parents.
The prestigious ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp followed by felicitation of the Chief Guest of the day Dr. Roopali Trehan . The School Principal, Head Mistress along with teachers and parents of the office bearers was present to bless the proceedings. The school band presented a live performance for the audience and the Primary students shared their views and expectations from the newly elected School Clan. A Power Point Presentation was displayed on the screen for the parents to witness each step, the students had to go through to cover the journey to make it for this important day- Investiture Ceremony 2018-19.
The newly appointed Clan members marched in with heads held high, to the beautiful beats of the school band on this great occasion of investiture ceremony .The newly appointed Council Members were adorned with sash, badge and received the flag from the Chief Guest and the Principal administered the oath to the council members with a promise that they would discharge their duties with integrity, faith and excellence. It was simultaneously a moment of pride and humbleness of authority with accountability and above all service.
The School Principal appreciated the efforts by the school for providing opportunities to the students. She also congratulated the new appointed Clan members. She said “Pray not for a lighter load but for stronger shoulders”. The Head Boy Sehajdeep Singh Garcha and Head Girl Era Goel promised a definite change for the better tomorrow with great conviction in their confident speech. This was followed by the entire council taking oath to discharge their duties with sincerity and fulfil everyone’s expectations. The whole stage lit up with the vibrant colours of the different flags and the event reinstated the faith in the calibre and leadership of the future generation.
Speaking on the occasion Principal Dr Saini highlighted on the implications of being a leader and its tall order to shoulder responsibilities, values, and ethics for being global citizens. She reiterated on the value of time, to interface responsibilities, work as a team and walk together.
Mr.Gaurav Rai,Executive Director Manav Rachna International School, Ludhiana sent his blessings and congratulated the students on the occasion of the Investiture Ceremony 2018-19.He motivated the students to unlock their full potential and build a collaborative leadership quality to perform the duties with moral rigour and ensure probity in all decisions.
Vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Malka Kaur. She thanked the Principal and the School Management for their kind support in every aspect to give the best to each one associated with MRIS,Ldh fraternity.
