International Edu-trip to SouthKorea

“It feels good to be lost in the right direction…”

An international edu-trip to South Korea was organized for Grade V to X students of #MRIS, Ludhiana. The gleaming eyes and charming faces of the 16 students could express their eagerness and excitement for the trip.

The first morning in South Korea started with new hopes and curiosity to explore the place and learn about their culture. The country had a lot to offer to the intrepid travellers offering the perfect blend of the old and new, the country had its wonderful culture and picturesque. The students enjoyed the city tour orienting themselves with popular traditional #HanokVillage located at Pildong where they could explore #KoreanHeritage and Royal family houses. The children stepped into #SeoulTower and got a glimpse of the world’s first Uled Tunnel. A ferry ride in Eland Cruise synchronized with folk music and bird feeding on the cruise mesmerized everyone.

Visit to Lotte World, Trick Eye Museum- the first AR museum of the world, K-Style Hub, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Coex Aquarium, Changichaon Stream, Buddha Temple, Samsung D’light, and King Sejong Museum elated everyone. Student Exchange Programme was the highlight of the trip wherein MRIS students interacted with the students of Segok Middle School and exchanged the information regarding their culture and curriculum. Indian culture was presented to them through a presentation and gave a beautiful dance performance. MRIS students also distributed Indian souvenirs to the Korean students as a token of love and remembrance.

Travelling with peers has taught each student to be respectful and independent, and left them with episodic memories. This tour helped the students in self-development and awareness leading to enhanced self-confidence and self-esteem.
