International Day of Girl Child was celebrated with full fervour during the virtual sessions at Manav Rachna International School, Ludhiana.

A myriad of activities was conducted with the aim to recognise the worth of the feminine segment of society. Under the theme chosen by UNICEF “My voice, our equal future”, enthusiastic students of Grade III presented their views through a ‘Poem Recitation Competition’. Beautiful poems woven around the importance and role of girls impressed all present. The students of Grade IV expressed their firm belief and demand on Gender Equality through Slogan Writing Competition. Students of Grade V participated in the Poster Making Competition on the theme provided to manifest their feelings. The involvement of the youngsters in such kind of activities will surely support girls and prosper respect and love for them amongst people.
