“Science is a progressive human activity where experiments are made to confirm ideas and facts.”

MRIS, Ludhiana aims to focus on the scientific temperament of students and educate them to inspect, experiment and perceive. Students of Grade I were introduced to the concept of density and sinking/floating by performing an interesting activity named ‘Density Tower’. They put liquids of different densities e.g. dishwashing liquid, mustard oil and water, in a test tube with the help of a syringe one after another, and observed the pattern of the movement of the liquids.
They observed dishwashing liquid settled at the bottom, water layered over it and mustard oil floating on the top. Through this activity, they learnt for life that denser liquids settle at the bottom and lighter ones float on the top.

“In the laboratory of mind illusions uncover the laws of Science and Facts.”
