Reading is a hot topic and parents often worry if their child is at the ‘right’ reading level. For practical suggestions to give child’s reading a boost, Manav Rachna International School, Sector-51, Gurugram organized a workshop to give parents practical tips on ‘How to ignite child’s passion for Reading?’. Ms Preminda Langer , Education Advisor with Scholastic India conducted a special webinar for the parents of MRIS-51 Gurugram wherein she talked about creating reading habits in children. She shared interesting and effective steps to inculcate reading habits amongst kids, such as reading with your child every day, talk to your child, and sprinkle interesting words into your conversation, offer a variety of books to read etc. It was an interactive session where she conversed with the inquisitive parents as well.
