“Every brilliant experiment, like every great work of art, starts with an act of imagination.”
Knowledge is that light which illuminates the mind, and our young scientists at MRIS-51 are the torchbearers of modern technological marvels. The students from grade 4 to 8 organised a Maker’s Expo wherein they showcased the STEM focused projects for the parents and teachers.
The projects were made under the mentorship of Makershala teachers, however, we take pride in the fact that the students decided their projects and executed them independently. They worked under the afterschool STEM program wherein they experimented, consulted and worked on their projects. These projects included working models such as robots, drones, ATM machine, rocket launcher, etc.
Maker’s Expo was an event dedicated to appreciate the innovation and hard work of these students. School Principal Ms. Pooja Puri opened the event with a ribbon cutting ceremony and visited each kiosk boosting confidence of the students. Keeping the competitive spirits high, parents casted their votes for the projects they found the most impressive.
It was great to see our future in the hands of such passionate children. We applaud the imagination of our students which infuses optimism in our hearts.
