Robotics is emerging as one of the most exciting verticals in the contemporary world with numerous applications across diverse fields. With a view to provide exposure to robotics, develop STEM skills and promote creativity amongst the students, Manav Rachna International School, Sector- 51, Gurugram participated in Make-X 2019 – a National Level Robotics Competition organized in Mumbai recently.
The competition saw the participation of 98 teams from various parts of the country competing with each other. This provided an incredible platform for the students to exhibit their technical skills as well as develop a competitive spirit.
MRIS teams put up an incredible performance and brought laurels to the school. ‘Team Rack-Pinion’, comprising of Ahan Pathak and Hannah Janawat of VII-Galileo won two awards for their scintillating performance- The Award for the Most Organized Team as well as the Second Runners Up Award. Closely emulating them, ‘Team Adyamae’, which included Rida Arora of VI-Researchers and Zayyan of VII-Bose, won the Second Runners Up Medal.
The inspirational and award-winning performance of MRIS-51 teams is a wonderful milestone for the school that believes in imparting contemporary education.
