Winning is not everything but it certainly is the icing on the cake. It gives us immense joy and pride to share that MRIS 46 won the football tournament held at Kunskapsskolan School recently. A ten member team slayed and ruled the event. Krishiv Kumar Chauhan from Grade VII was the highest goal scorer in the tournament, bagging 7 out of 17 goals in total.

Six schools had participated in the event and it was definitely not an easy win. What became the turning point for the school team was the Semi-final, where the team scored a 5-0.

Shiv Bhatia, the second highest scorer of the tournament shared, “We had conceded one goal and were very disappointed with our performance. But, then our coach encouraged us and we did well in the second half and gradually won the final match.”

It is a very proud moment to see the young football enthusiasts taking giant leaps to fulfill their dreams.
