‘Tazurba: Connect. Learn. Lead’

‘Tazurba: Connect. Learn. Lead’

“If you’re always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be” and this is what Tazurba aims at. It gives children an opportunity to come out of their cocoons and nurture into beautiful butterflies and flutter in this world full of endless opportunities. With this aim in mind, the children of Grade VIII were given a chance to have a tete-a-tete with one such personality from the world of media and entertainment.

Pallavi Mehta, a renowned media personality with extensive experience of almost 25 years was the guest of honour for the event. She motivated the children to explore their talent at a young age and think beyond the set standards of the society. The audience was equally enthusiastic and participated in the session by asking an array of questions. Ms. Pallavi also won the attention of the children by sharing her experience of the Live Caribbean Premier League and the stories of her encounters with the celebrities. Quoting the speaker, “Diligence, team work, focus and patience are the keys to a successful career”. She inspired the young mind to chase their dreams and to never let anything or anyone hinder their will power to excel.

Students were highly impressed by her motivating words and learnt to be more determined and stay positive in life. The importance of yoga and meditation, and ‘hands-on learning’ was also highlighted in the session. Children learnt the importance of a healthy mind in a healthy body. There were many takeaways from the enriching session, but the most important lesson that the children learnt was of ‘moving on in life’. To err is human; but to learn from the errors and move on is more important. Overall, it was an augmenting experience for the students as well as the teachers who attended the session.
